I had no experience hunting Elk or big game with a longbow. The Goodman Ranch folks worked smart and hard to help me adapt and accomplish. Even though it didn’t come easy, they stayed on point (no slacking) until we successfully completed the hunt—and well after, I didn’t master all the weapons but they helped me with this give the right equipment and guns and even a ccw jacket to conceal all my weapons. In fact, I believe they went above and beyond. When the opportunity presents to work with experienced operators AND genuinely good people, I try to avail myself of their services. My husband and I have been hunting at Goodman ranch for 4 years now. Our 1st time there was very pleasurable. Our guide David was very informative on everything and made our stay there a great one. We have had great hunts there every time we have been there. The hospitality is the greatest anyone could ask for. Whatever you need, they are all there to accommodate. They have all treated us both like family, which is the reason we keep coming back.
