Our Story \u2013 The History of Goodman Ranch<\/h2>

The Goodman Ranch has a rich history rooted in the tradition of the Tennessee outdoors. Originally known as Suzi Q Ranch, the property was open land without fencing or major improvements. In 1997, Mike and Pat Goodman purchased the land, added the first fence, and began shaping it into what is now one of Tennessee\u2019s premier hunting destinations. Over time, they built ponds, lodges, a ranch house, and expanded the herds\u2014laying the foundation for the Goodman Ranch experience guests enjoy today.\nToday, the ranch is proudly owned and operated by Lee, Nikki, Bryson, Kaylee, and Riley Downing, who are dedicated to carrying on the Goodman family legacy.
