Tennessee Turkey Hunting
Goodman Ranch offers excellent spring Tennessee turkey hunting. Tennessee has
become one of the most popular states in the south for Eastern turkey hunting. We offer
great terrain here at the ranch for hunting these wary gobblers. With beautiful hardwoods
and pines, hills and hollows, fields and creek draws, and over 100 acres of clover fields,
Goodman Ranch is the perfect place for a spring turkey hunt. These different settings
allow us excellent set ups to bring a gobbler in close enough to get a shot.
Turkey Hunting Challenge
We love to hunt in groups for our turkeys because so often we get more than one
bird to come in to our calling. With multiple hunters we can often get a double making it
an exciting hunt with clients or family members. Taking one bird is a great challenge in
itself, but trying to get more than one is always more exhilarating for the guide and the
hunters. We offer over 2,000 acres to turkey hunt on, and we can accommodate up to 8
hunters at a time. Tennessee offers a youth turkey hunt at the beginning of the season,
which is a great time to let your youngster take their hunting to the next level by going
after a big Tennessee Gobbler.
Turkey Season Timing
Middle to late turkey season is one of the most beautiful times of the year at
Goodman Ranch. The wild flowers are in bloom, the trees are filling out with leaves,
and everything is turning green again from the past winter. After you have bagged your
gobbler you can try fishing in one of our lakes. Our lakes are excellent to fish during
turkey season because the Largemouth Bass, Blue Gill, and Crappie are beginning their
active time of spawning.
Turkey Outfitter Experience
Turkey hunts are $1495 and include a 2 day hunt, 1 night lodging, meals, and trophy fees. Arrival is 2pm on first day. Licenses, taxidermy, and gratuity are additional.
